DMB Official Taping Policy

Dave Matthews Band allows audio taping at almost every live performance. At all taping authorized performances, tapers can tape from any ticketed seating location in the venue. Also, for many of these performances tapers are able to purchase tickets for a specially designated taper section, normally located immediately behind the soundboard. There is no soundboard or power feeds given, therefore it is the responsibility of the taper to bring his/her own equipment.

Taping is limited to audio-only; there will be no video taping allowed. We sincerely appreciate all of our fans, so we ask that you please be considerate of those around you. Please do not obstruct anyone else's view of the performance no matter where you are taping from.

Tapes should be used for personal use or trading only. Selling any recording is illegal and will jeopardize everyone else's taping privileges.

If taper tickets are available for a particular show, they will be released on the same date and at the same time as general seating tickets. To obtain designated taper tickets, contact the venue's box office. In some instances, taper tickets will be available through outlets other than the venue box office, but it is advised that you go through the venue box office. We urge you to get your taper tickets as early as possible as they are limited and they will be released as general seating tickets with an obstructed view should the rest of the general seating tickets sell out.

If the venue's box office does not sell taper tickets, you may still tape the performance from any other seat in the venue, provided it is a taping authorized show. Again, please be conscientious of our fans seated around you no matter where you are taping from.
Thank you for your interest and cooperation.
